What would a Sandwich Guru do without good mayonnaise? I get cold sweats just thinking about it. I have tried other mayonnaisezzzz, not all of them, but for me there is only one and it is Hellmann's/Best Foods. Do you know of a better mayonnaise? What kind is in your refrigerator right now? Let me know in a comment and if I haven't already tried it, I will do so on your recommendation. Sam

I like Trader Joes organic Mayo - kicks Hellman's butt.

ReplyDeleteI agree...Hellman's is the best! I grew up with Hellman's and it's what I still buy. (I actually use to have Mayo sandwiches when I was a kid). I've tried others at friends houses, but to me they are not real Mayo. They just don't taste the same.

I grew up on Hellmann's, too and love it. Miracle Whip makes me puke. I also recently tried a mayo w/ olive oil. Can't remember what brand it was. It was alright....
ReplyDeleteIt's Best Foods here and I wouldn't buy anything else. We used to eat mayo and lettuce sandwiches on white bread when I was a child. I still like them today.
