Panini Cubano Sandwich!

Submitted by Peter Howard, Los Angeles, California
Multi grain Sourdough Bread, Toasted
Swiss Cheese, Sliced
Kroger's Brand Sandwich Slims Kosher Dill Pickle
Quality Sliced Deli Ham
Trader Joe's Brand Organic Yellow Mustard
2 Generous Tabs of Butter
Mezzetta Brand Hot Chili Peppers
Butter all four sides of the bread, coat with mustard, layer once with ham, cheese and pickle, close sandwich and grill weighted down (use a brick covered with foil) in a heavy skillet or on a panini grill. Serve with hot chili peppers and a salad of your choice.
We took a couple of whole stalks of romaine lettuce and put them in a bowl, drizzled with olive oil, Hawaiian salt and cracked pepper, then put it on the BBQ for about 3 to 4 minutes. It complimented the Panini Cubano very nicely. Gracias, Peter
