When Gordon shows up at my door I know the kitchen will be rockin full speed ahead for hours (sometimes days) on end. He uses the same m.o. every time. Arriving unannounced, a bottle of wine in one hand and a spatula in the other. Armed and ready for some serious sandwich making.
Nothing against Gordon, but a little lead time would be nice. Never the less, he manages to catch me at the ready, always up for a "roll" in the kitchen with the great G.R. After all, he's my heart throb, has mad skills in the kitchen, and for all practical purposes, he OWNS my culinary soul.
Gordon's favorite sandwich? Sauteed mushrooms on toast!
This is so funny-great blog and love the dog!

P.S. I will try not to be such a stranger -- rough start to the new year but you are always such a lovely and uplifting visitor, I will be back soon.

ReplyDeleteGordon kind of scares me...in my high school (in annual staff class) we used to have stand ups of the Bartles and James guys (can you believe they allowed that).
Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog- although I'm not sure what unique talents you are talking about!! Seriously- your blog is fabulous!

I want that Gordon. Then I could stand behind it and say, "Shut it down!" when I've had enough. And to Sara and Holly above, don't you know that he's really a big softy under all that rancor? A fluffy teddy bear you could squeeze, and then nibble on...like a sandwich.
ReplyDeleteI love it!
ReplyDeleteLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI so want that cut out.. where ever did you get it.
ReplyDeletenow thats funny ,love the blog and all the sambo's look yummy..
