Gordon's at the Door!

When Gordon shows up at my door I know the kitchen will be rockin full speed ahead for hours (sometimes days) on end. He uses the same m.o. every time. Arriving unannounced, a bottle of wine in one hand and a spatula in the other. Armed and ready for some serious sandwich making.
Nothing against Gordon, but a little lead time would be nice. Never the less, he manages to catch me at the ready, always up for a "roll" in the kitchen with the great G.R. After all, he's my heart throb, has mad skills in the kitchen, and for all practical purposes, he OWNS my culinary soul.

Gordon's favorite sandwich? Sauteed mushrooms on toast!

  11. Hello my culinary friend. Sorry I've been away.
I think Mr. Gordon comes and goes on no one's schedules than his own. LOL. But I am quite sure you are the master of your own kitchen when it comes to sandwiches!

  13. Sauteed mushrooms on toast...yum!

Gordon kind of scares me...in my high school (in annual staff class) we used to have stand ups of the Bartles and James guys (can you believe they allowed that).

  18. I want that Gordon. Then I could stand behind it and say, "Shut it down!" when I've had enough. And to Sara and Holly above, don't you know that he's really a big softy under all that rancor? A fluffy teddy bear you could squeeze, and then nibble on...like a sandwich.
