"BAKER BABES" Confection Perfection!

One of the wonderful things I enjoy about being a Featured Publisher with Foodbuzz.com is the association with so many fabulous foodies from all over the culinary universe. Much like Facebook or similar social networks, Foodbuzz pages overflow with foodie-people making connections with other foodie folk. I was so happy when I received the following post from my Foodbuzz friend/follower at "Bake Our Day" the blog.

First, take a look at this amazing place by visiting "Bake Our Day". You'll think you're visiting the streets of Paris. Every sweet and deliciously delicate bakery item you see is purely perfection.

These artisans are so all over every detail of their work, it kind of makes your head spin. From "Bubby's Bluberry Muffins to Tiffany's 18 Carrot Cake, Baker Babes Bakery makes "deliciously old-fashioned self-indulgent delights" from the freshest ingredients with love and what I would term confection perfection!

And you know what? These ladies know a good sandwich shop when they run into one. Which is why they sent me this great article about Eisenberg's Sandwich Shop in New York City. Awesome! Here's what they wrote about Eisenberg's:

There are so many wonderful places to visit in New York City. The Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and Times Square are all important parts of history. But if you want a real taste of New York's past visit Eisenberg's Sandwich Shop on 5th Avenue between 22nd and 23rd streets. Eisenberg's opened in 1929 and very little has changed in this bustling little restaurant. While sitting on their old leather stools it is easy to imagine Fred and Ginger dropping by for a late night BLT or egg sandwich. So, the next time your on your way downtown be sure to stop at Eisenberg's to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of a classic New York sandwich shop.
