Free Chik-Fil-A on Labor Day!

This Labor Day, Monday, September 7th from open to closing time at Chik-Fil-A Resturants you can have a fee Original Chicken Sandwich on le house.  All you have to do is wear something with the logo of your favorite sports team on it. Not a bad trade, no?  Click on the above title for details.
Since I do not have a favorite sports team I will wear my favorite beret and of course a bow-tie. In the past I have found this to be an outfit befitting most fast-food occasions. Perhaps they will recognize the value of a visit from Le gourou and give me a sandwich in spite of my outfit. Other wise, I will be happy to pay!  Sam

Submitted to Sandwich 365 by:

This Taco Sandwich is very simple to make, very tasty, and decidedly American!
Here's how to make it:

Ingrédients
1.5 lb ground turkey meat, sauted
1 packet dry taco seasoning (any brand)
1 large jalepeno pepper, half chopped, half sliced into wheel shape
1 large red onion, diced
1/2 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
1/2 cup mayo
1 cup chedder cheese, grated
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
French sandwich roll (or bun of choice) toasted
Assemblée
In a large pan, saute 1/2 red onion until translucide (translucent)
Add 1/2 jalepeno pepper and saute lightly (approx 2 minutes)
Add all turkey meat and dry taco seasoning per directions on packet until done and set aside

In a small blender or "chop-chop" combine 1/2 jalepeno pepper and mayo. This makes "mayopeno" spread

Smooth " Sam's Mayopeno"over both sides of roll/bun
Heap seasoned turkey mixture over bottom bun
Top with cheese, cilantro, remaining chopped onion, jalepeno wheels, and lettuce

Serve Hot!
Bon appétit, Le gourou
