FRENCH? RUDE? Well Excuuuze Me!

French tourists are the Worlds Worst tourists. So (to my shigrin) says a survey of 4500 hotel owners across the globe http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20090709/lf_nm_life/us_france_tourists . The survey, put on by Expedia.com says French holiday travelers don't speak local languages, hardly know English and are impolite and arrogant.

Wait a minute, isn't that what the rest of the world says about Americans? You've heard the term "Rude American" right? Do they still say that? The survey goes on to say the French are seen as cheap but exceedingly well dressed after Italians and Brits. Now there's an interesting thought. How do you think Americans would rank among other countries when it comes to how they dress on holiday? Yikes! Let us not forget the things we LOVE about the French.
